About

Welcome to the Anxiety Mechanisms and Processes Team at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

The AMPT is a research team led by Dr. Sarah Hayes-Skelton. This team specializes in understanding the mechanisms and processes responsible for the maintanence and treatment of anxiety. Through this work we hope to reduce the suffering of those struggling with anxiety. We also are particularly interested in understanding and enhancing the cultural sensitivity of treatments for anxiety and therapy more generally. Please check out our current studies for more information about our current work, or browse past work by our team.
